Autism Clinic
Applied Behavioral Services, Inc., in partnership with SOS Health Care, will sponsor a clinic for children diagnosed with autism under the age of six. To be eligible for participation, the child must be five or under by November 16, 2007. The clinic, located in Surfside Beach, SC, will provide services consistent with the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to children diagnosed with autism. The clinic will be staffed with two Board Certified Behavior Analysts and seven experienced ABA therapists. Services will include skill assessment, verbal behavior training, social skills training, play/leisure skill development, functional assessment/analysis of problem behavior, as well as parent and staff workshops.
The clinic is scheduled to begin Jan. 3rd, 2008, will continue throughout the year including summer months, and will run a schedule consistent with the public school calendar. Tuition is set at $1960/month, although a sliding scale will be offered to those who can not afford the full tuition rate. If you wish to be considered for the sliding scale, you will be asked to submit a copy of your 2006 Federal Income Tax Form upon acceptance into the program. Sessions will entail 1:1 ABA therapy daily for three hours. Morning (9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.) and afternoon slots (1:30 p.m- 4:30 p.m.) will be available. To be eligible for the clinic, please complete the referral form linked below and send to Applied Behavioral Services, Inc., no later than November 15th , 2007. Please do not send payment at this time. The first month's tuition will be due on December 15th, 2007.
